r cutting woven mat roofs while installing chimneys. At our last stop, not in the market, we pick up massive amounts of yogurt – NEI lacked almost all dairy products. The entry had a little shine to Murugan, aka Skanda, son of Shiva. It's sunny in Kodai, but cloudy below.

h hosted by George, Kodai's only bagel maker, here with his oven. Gail becomes friends with George's sister-in-law, Julie, visiting from Ontario. She couldn't believe the list of feminist thealogans Gail was on a first name basis with. 
After a light supper at 'home', Gail and I went for a walk in the hillside 'Enclave' next door, where we met this fellow and dozens of his friends. This big building may have been an apartment complex – count the seven satellite dishes on the roof - or a family complex with conflicting TV viewing requirements.
